Apr\u00e8s l\u2019ouragan Irma et la reprise \u00e9conomique, l\u2019\u00eele a vu doubler le nombre de conteneurs import\u00e9s. En 2023, ce sont pr\u00e8s de 8 500 conteneurs et plus de 7 millions de litres de carburant qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9charg\u00e9s. Cette croissance exponentielle met \u00e0 rude \u00e9preuve les infrastructures existantes.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-331f882 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"331f882\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><b>Des cons\u00e9quences concr\u00e8tes au quotidien<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le manque d\u2019espace entra\u00eene des difficult\u00e9s majeures. Les zones de man\u0153uvre sont \u00e9troites, la cohabitation entre conteneurs, barges et p\u00e9troliers devient complexe, et les op\u00e9rations s\u2019encha\u00eenent parfois dans la confusion. Ce chantier, enti\u00e8rement financ\u00e9 localement, vise \u00e0 cr\u00e9er 2 200 m\u00b2 de terre-plein suppl\u00e9mentaires, soit une augmentation de plus de 20 % de la surface op\u00e9rationnelle. Les travaux, qui dureront cinq mois, devraient permettre de fluidifier les \u00e9changes et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des op\u00e9rations.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fe4443d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fe4443d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><b>Des am\u00e9nagements pens\u00e9s pour l\u2019avenir<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019agrandissement ne se limite pas \u00e0 l\u2019ajout d\u2019espace. Il s\u2019agit aussi de r\u00e9organiser les flux, de s\u00e9parer les zones de d\u00e9chargement, de cr\u00e9er des espaces d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux conteneurs r\u00e9frig\u00e9r\u00e9s et de renforcer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 autour des installations sensibles, comme l\u2019usine de production d\u2019eau potable. Conteneurs, carburants, barges de d\u00e9barquement : chaque activit\u00e9 a ses propres contraintes. L\u2019agrandissement doit s\u2019accompagner d\u2019une organisation plus rigoureuse pour \u00e9viter les conflits d\u2019usage et garantir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de tous les intervenants.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-81bca77 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"81bca77\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><b>R\u00e9guler pour \u00e9viter une nouvelle saturation<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agrandir le port, c\u2019est aussi prendre le risque de voir le trafic augmenter encore davantage. Pour \u00e9viter une nouvelle saturation, la collectivit\u00e9 envisage de moduler la taxe portuaire en fonction de la dur\u00e9e de s\u00e9jour des marchandises, afin d\u2019encourager une rotation r\u00e9guli\u00e8re et de limiter l\u2019encombrement des quais.
