Mister Guadeloupe 2025 marks the start of a new adventure for twelve young men ready to embody the elegance, Creole culture and civic commitment of the archipelago. Under the spotlights of Saint-François, the 14th edition of the contest unveiled its candidates during a highly symbolic evening, promising a competition placed under the sign of Creole identity and the valorization of local heritage.
Introducing the 14th edition of the competition
A traditional yet modern launch
The contest Mister Guadeloupe 2025 was officially launched on Friday June 13 on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville in Saint-François. The large, enthusiastic audience witnessed a show that blended tradition and modernity: the candidates arrived masked, on roaring motorcycles, before revealing themselves one by one. This bold and symbolic staging set the tone for an edition that aims to combine authenticity and innovation.
The 12 candidates: Ambassadors of Creole elegance
Participants’ profiles and ambitions
Kinsley, François, Maxone, Arnaud, Kenny, Yannis, Djaroy, Laurent, Guy-Hendricks, Ismaël, Dylan and Raï: twelve faces, twelve backgrounds, but one common goal. Each of these young men, aged between 18 and 32 and measuring at least 1.75 metres, was selected for his presence, charisma and desire to proudly represent Guadeloupe. Their diversity reflects the human richness of the archipelago and offers the public a palette of unique talents and personalities.
Behind each candidate is a story, a passion, a commitment. Some want to promote local culture, others are involved in social or sporting causes. All share the same desire to become an ambassador for their island, with the hope of flying the flag for Guadeloupe.
Creole identity in the spotlight
A meaningful theme for Guadeloupe’s youth
The theme of this year’s event, “Creole identity: Guadeloupe’s cultural riches and heritage”, invites us to go beyond mere appearances. Mister Guadeloupe 2025 is a platform for cultural valorization and social commitment. The aim is to highlight diversity, creativity and pride in belonging to this unique land, while transmitting strong values to Guadeloupe’s youth.
Enhancing cultural heritage
The opening evening featured performances by the traditional group Chalè and singer Melshane, who brought a touch of authenticity and emotion to the event. This artistic choice underlines the organizers’ determination to make the competition Mister Guadeloupe 2025 a true vector of cultural transmission, where each candidate becomes, in his or her own way, a transmitter of memory and identity.
A springboard to Mister France
The national ambition of the Mister Guadeloupe committee
The contest Mister Guadeloupe 2025 doesn’t stop at the local level. Under the leadership of Mickael Viomesnil, committee president and choreographer, and Joël-Xavier Sylvestre, vice-president in charge of public relations, the organization has a clear ambition: to take the national crown in Paris. After two 2nd runner-up titles at Mister France, Guadeloupe is now dreaming of supreme victory.
This year’s winner will represent the archipelago at the Mister France 2026 contest, scheduled for January 26 in Paris. He will succeed Joélick Schol, Mister Guadeloupe 2024 and will proudly represent the island’s values on the national stage. Mister Guadeloupe 2025 could well be the turning point.
The competition, a human and civic adventure
Commitment, transmission and local pride
Mister Guadeloupe 2025 is much more than a beauty contest. It’s a human adventure, punctuated by encounters, challenges and sharing. Candidates benefit from intensive preparation, combining personal development workshops with cultural, sporting and tourist discoveries. They are accompanied throughout their journey to become true ambassadors, capable of defending the values of charm, elegance and savoir-être specific to Guadeloupe.
As Jean Suédois, first deputy mayor of Saint-François, pointed out, “this competition is above all a vehicle for pride, identity and transmission”. It enables Guadeloupe’s youth to assert themselves, to make a commitment and to convey a positive message, both locally and nationally. Through Mister Guadeloupe 2025 a whole archipelago is asserting its colors.
Mister Guadeloupe 2025 has established itself as a flagship event, where masculine elegance rhymes with civic commitment and the promotion of Creole heritage. The twelve candidates, true ambassadors for their island, embody the diversity, creativity and pride of Guadeloupe. Beyond the competition, it’s a human, cultural and social adventure, with the national stage of Mister France 2026 in sight. See you on August 16, 2025 to find out who will wear the crown and defend the colors of the archipelago in Paris.
