The 20th edition of the Danses Métisses Festival was also marked by the participation of Dany Dann, a Guyanese dancer who recently won a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the breakdance discipline. Contemporary dance and hip-hop performances took place in a number of towns in French Guiana, including Cayenne, Matoury, Remire-Montjoly, Kourou, Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni and Maripasoula , ensuring that a wide audience could experience the joy of dance. In addition to performances, the 20th edition of the Danses Métisses Festival included lectures and workshops, enabling everyone to learn about dance, techniques and styles. The special evenings organized at the EPCC des Trois Fleuves and at l’Encre in Cayenne became highlights of this edition, promising memorable performances for dance enthusiasts and inspiring passionate discussions.

The dancers at Touka Danses, a national choreographic development center, were given the opportunity to train and confront other artists from the international scene. From December 5, 2026, to April 4, 2027, the MSC World Europa will come alive to the rhythms of Caribbean music with the Zouk@Sea by MSC festival.
